The Caines
Gemini and Paul Caine and their two sons, Miles and Owen moved to their beautiful country farm in Mono Hills five years ago. They purchased the farm to provide a home for their retired racehorses and rescued mini ponies. The Caines have opened their property to guests of Hemlock Cottage to enjoy the beauty of nature at their tranquil farm.
Hemlock Cottage
Hemlock Cottage was named after Gemini’s Hemlock Channel Cottage in Parry Sound. The Caines also owned a racehorse they named Hemlock Channel. The cottage features a 100 year old hemlock wood beam restored from an old barn as well as beautiful hemlock wooden floors.
Year Round Outdoors
When staying at Hemlock Cottage you will have access to groomed walking trails on their 50 acre property or you can plan to take a hike at nearby Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. Play tennis or basketball on the courts or visit with the horses and ponies in the paddocks. Cross country ski trails and toboggan hills for wintertime fun and Hemlock Cottage is nine minutes from Hockley Valley Golf, Spa & Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Mansfield Ski Club
Relax or be Entertained Indoors
After a day outdoors or for a relaxing indoor getaway, Hemlock Cottage has satellite tv and wi-fi so you can watch your favourite shows or catch up on movies.
Card and board games are available as well as a video game console to keep you entertained.
Or simply immerse yourself in a good book beside the cosy gas fireplace.
